ABOUT THE HER HELMET THURSDAYS PROJECT:
Businesses and organizations participating in HER Helmet Thursdays provide discounts on Thursdays for males and females who bike.
For FAQs, project-wide date restrictions, and other details, see "H-E-R Helmet Thurs INFO" section at http://www.HERHelmetThursdays.com, or call 831.375.6278.

ABOUT THIS PARTICIPANT:
Paraiso Vineyards is owned and managed by three generations of the Smith family, one of the pioneering winegrape growers of the Santa Lucia Highlands.

Our estate vineyard is the first in the region to be SIP Certified Sustainable. Visitors can enjoy tasting estate grown Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, dry Riesling, Syrah and Souzao Port.

Besides enjoying our wines--at a discount for cyclists on Thursdays!--you may also want to shop at our Paraiso gift boutique, which offers a unique collection of home and garden decor.

The scenic grounds are also the perfect setting for an afternoon lunch or private party.

Bike Tips:

Bicyclists visiting our Tasting Room on HER Helmet Thursdays will receive complimentary wine tastings and 10% off all wine purchases.

Paraiso Vineyards is near the Soledad Mission, the 13th California mission, founded in 1791. Check out the map to the Tasting Room on our website: http://www.paraisovineyards.com/tasting-room/directions.php If you're a history buff, that's all the more reason to head to Paraiso Vineyards! To learn more about their neighboring Soledad Mission, see the City of Soledad's webpage: http://www.ci.soledad.ca.us/index.aspx?nid=328

Feel free to pack a picnic lunch and hang out on our back deck while tasting and taking in the view or take a stroll in the vineyard just steps away. It's not a bad way to spend an afternoon!
