20% discount on your treatment.

Cash patients only. (Due to insurance regulations, discount can only be given to cash patients.)

Businesses and organizations participating in HER Helmet Thursdays help HER / Mother Earth by providing discounts on Thursdays for people who bike. A long-term project with no scheduled end-date, HER Helmet Thursdays was launched in 2009 in Monterey County, California as a public service. NOTE: When participating businesses and organizations sign up, they are provided a staff reference sheet. Many have frequent staff changes. Just in case a staff person on duty isn't familiar with this long-term project, it may be helpful to have the listing for that location pulled up on your mobile phone screen (or print a copy of their listing to take along), so you're prepared to kindly show their listing.
Before claiming discount, refer to FAQs and project details, including date restrictions, in "LISTINGS, Map, How to Get the Discounts, and FAQs about HER Helmet Thursdays" at

Please see our website for more information, including about gentle methods used when caring for newborns and children and treating pregnant patients, during and after their pregnancy.

Bike Tips:

You may lock up your bike in the bike parking area of the underground parking garage (orange posts).

Or, feel free to bring your bike right into your treatment room with you! If bringing your bike into the office and treatment room (upstairs), you may prefer to use the elevator, which is accessed via the building's underground parking garage.

Our office building is across the street from the Camino El Estero Park Complex. Our building address is Camino El Estero, and the building is located between Camino El Estero and Cortes streets, where those streets intersect with Webster.

The office building has entrances on both Camino El Estero and Cortes, as well as an elevator entrance from the underground parking garage, which is directly off the little Robinson Street.

Our office is located very near a Class I portion of the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail/bike path. Coming from the bike path, here are three different route options after leaving the path. Options #2 and #3 include Class II bike lanes part of the way, and #2 is considered by many as the best option if biking with a child. Take your pick, and enjoy the ride!

(1) Most direct, no bike lane:

Leave the bike path at the intersection of Del Monte Avenue and Camino El Estero (near Monterey Bay Kayaks on the bayside of Del Monte; near Trinity High School on the opposite side of Del Monte). Bike up Camino El Estero about 4 short blocks. Our office building will be on your right, on the corner of Camino El Estero and Webster.

(2) Here's an alternate route for biking with a child. This is also a good route if coming on bike path from downtown Monterey/Wharf I and II side. (Biking with a child? Before the trip, get your young cyclist ready by reviewing Personal Safety section at

Leave the Class I bike/multi-use path above Wharf II, and walk your bikes up the sidewalk (to left/east side of street) until you reach the crosswalk at the Del Monte Avenue traffic light.
Walk your bikes across Del Monte; you'll now be at the corner of Del Monte and Figueroa, directly in front of Lopez Taqueria and Liquor (formerly La Casa Bodega).
Walk your bikes across Figueroa (in direction of that big building with no windows or signs, that's the Monterey Sport Center). Now hop back on your bikes and use the Class II bike lane to bike up Figueroa.
Continue on Figueroa. You'll first cross Franklin Street (there's a traffic light). Next you'll pass the back side of Jacks Park--be cautious about parked cars that may be backing out. Continue on Figueroa until you see little Robinson Street (almost like an alleyway)on your left.
Make a left onto Robinson(no bike lane now, but a lightly traveled little street), and continue one block until you cross the next street (that's Cortes, but you won't see a street sign). Immediately afterward, on your right, you'll see our underground parking garage. Pull on in and lock up at the orange posts! Our building is just before you reach Camino Aguajito and the El Estero Lake Park Complex.

(3) An alternate route if coming on the bike path from Seaside or the Naval Postgraduate School:

Leave the Class I bike/multi-use path at Del Monte and Camino Aguajito (there are new Class II bike lanes on Camino Aguajito). Bike up Camino Aguajito to Pearl. Make a right on Pearl (crossing over the lake bridge) and continue beyond the Monterey Youth Center and the next bridge, to the intersection at Pearl and Camino El Estero. Make a left onto Camino El Estero and continue the short distance to Webster. Our office building is on your right, at the corner of Camino El Estero and Webster.
